Sparsha Diagnostics ("we", "us", "our") operates this website at sparshadiagnostics.com. This policy explains what information the website collects, how it is used, and the third-party services it relies on. It does not cover information we collect in person or by phone, such as when you visit a centre or book a test - please ask our staff about that separately.

Information you give us

When you use the enquiry form on the Contact page, we collect your name, phone number, and whatever you choose to add: an email address, the topic of your enquiry, and your message. Fields marked with an asterisk are required; the rest are optional. If your message mentions health information, that is because you chose to share it, not something the form asks for directly.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and general device, browser and approximate location information (derived from your IP address, not exact GPS location). Analytics only runs on this domain, not on local or test copies of the site, and it loads after you interact with the page or a few seconds after it finishes loading, not immediately.

Information handled outside this website

Booking a home sample collection, visiting a centre, or calling one of our numbers involves sharing information directly with our staff over the phone or in person. That information is not collected or stored by this website; it is handled as part of our normal clinical and administrative practice.

How we use your information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

How the enquiry form works

Submitting the form emails your enquiry directly to our team; the website itself does not store submissions in a database. To stop spam, submissions from the same visitor are limited to five per hour; this limit is tracked by a temporary counter tied to your IP address that clears itself after an hour and is never used for any other purpose.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for logins, shopping carts or advertising, because it has none of those. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically named things like _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors between visits. If you interact with the embedded Google Map, the Google reviews widget, or click through to WhatsApp, those services may set their own cookies under their own policies, described below.

Our website is hosted with Hostinger, which processes website traffic and the emails our enquiry form sends, as part of providing hosting and email delivery.

Data retention

Enquiries you send us are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for our own reasonable record-keeping, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics account settings. The rate-limit counter described above clears automatically after an hour.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. The enquiry form is protected against automated spam and header-injection attempts, and validates what it accepts before sending it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it erased, subject to any legal requirement we may have to keep it. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children, and the enquiry form is intended for use by adults on their own behalf or on behalf of a patient in their care.
